A nova saga da marca é na área de cuidados pessoais, com uma linha de produtos para barba, cabelo e bigode, claro. Com meio litro da bebida incluída na fórmula de 250 ml de cada item, o objetivo dos caras é atingir cerca de 40% dos homens ingleses que roubam os cosméticos das esposas e namoradas, de acordo com um estudo prévio conduzido pela empresa. Ok, isso não é novidade, mas por que uma cervejaria investiria na área de cuidados pessoais com cerveja? O primeiro deles é, obviamente, uma jogada de marketing. Os homens ainda são o primeiro mercado de consumo de cerveja no mundo inteiro, responsáveis pelos 70% de volume de vendas de latas, chopes, long necks, etc. Claro, que seria interessante ampliar o portfólio, não é? O segundo é a quantidade de benefícios que algumas substâncias presentes nos ingredientes da bebidas pode trazer para seu visual: juntos, o lúpulo, a cevada e a levedura possuem vitamina B e silício, podem melhorar o aspecto da pele e dos fios de cabelo. E, por isso, vale a pena investir em produtos de cuidados pessoais com cerveja.

“A cerveja é congelada e triturada até virar pó. Então, é misturada aos ingredientes orgânicos de modo que criamos produtos únicos”, explica Erik Lund, mestre-cervejeiro da Carlsberg.

Porém, aí vêm as más notícias: a série é limitada e só está disponível no site ThirstForGreat.com por exagerados 64 euros. O kit contempla shampoo, condicionador e loção corporal.
